The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack the Code to Wealth and Live Rich for a Lifetime!

MJ DeMarco
INTERNATIONAL BEST-SELLER
Translated and Published Worldwide In Over 25 Languages
“In life, there are people who get it, and people who don’t get it. When it comes to building wealth, MJ DeMarco gets it. What really made my jaw drop about this book, however, was his brutal honesty. He exposes many of the misconceptions of the common wealth building ‘gurus’…”
~ Amazon reader review
“If you want to get “rich” while you’re young enough to enjoy it, read this book …it short-circuits you though a lot of the BS.”

Has the financial plan of mediocrity and survival become your plan for wealth? That sounds something like this:
Graduate from college, get a good job, save 10% of your paycheck, buy a used car, cancel the movie channels, quit buying expensive Starbucks coffee, save and penny-pinch for decades, trust your life-savings to Wall Street, and one day, when you are oh, say, 65 years old, you can retire rich.
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you’ve been hoodwinked into believing that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. This soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma is known as the “The Slowlane” – a risky financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair.
Accept the Slowlane as your financial roadmap and your financial future will blow carelessly asunder on a sailboat of HOPE: HOPE you can get a job and keep it, HOPE the stock market doesn’t tank, HOPE for a robust economy, HOPE, HOPE, and HOPE. Do you really want HOPE as the centerpiece for your family’s financial plan?
Drive the Slowlane and you will discover your life deteriorate into a miserable exhibition about what you cannot do versus what you can. For those who refuse the lifetime subscription to mediocrity, there’s an expressway to extraordinary wealth capable of burning a trail to financial freedom faster than any road out there. And shockingly, this road has nothing to do with jobs, 401(k)s, indexed-funds, or a lifestyle of miserly living in a tiny house. Just some of what you will learn:
-
- Why jobs, 401(k)s, indexed-funds, and 40-years of mindless frugality will never make you rich young.
-
- Why most entrepreneurs fail and how to immediately put the odds in your favor.
-
- The real law of wealth: Leverage this, and wealth has no choice but to be magnetized to you.
-
- The leading cause of poorness: Change this, and you change everything.
-
- How the rich really get rich – and no, it has nothing to do with a paycheck or a 401K match.
-
- The indisputable mathematics of wealth: how you and any “Joe Schmo” can tap into real wealth real fast.
-
- Why the guru’s sacred deities – compound interest and indexed fund investing – are impotent wealth accelerators.
-
- Why popular guru platitudes like “do what you love” and “follow your passion” will most likely keep you poor, not rich.
- And 250+ more poverty-busting distinctions…
About the Author
MJ DeMarco is a semi-retired entrepreneur, investor, advisor, and international best-selling author who’s books have been translated in over 15 languages worldwide. He is the current founder of Viperion Publishing Corp., a media company focused on online and print content distribution. He also is admin/founder for The Fastlane Forum, the web’s leading destination forum for start-up, finance, and entrepreneurial business discussions.
Prior to embarking into the world of writing and authorship, he was the former start-up Founder/CEO of Limos.com (1997-2007), a global ground transportation aggregator and marketplace that he successfully built and grew into a profitable multi-million dollar company, all with no money, no formal training, and with just a few employees. In 2001, he sold the company in an exit event but later reacquired the company via bankruptcy reorganization. He later sold the company again in 2007 to a Phoenix-based private equity company.
By refusing to accept society’s default template for mediocrity (THE SCRIPT: jobs, 401(k)s, frugality, give your life savings to Wall-Street) MJ was able to retire young in his thirties without sacrificing the good life. Yes, that means he isn’t playing Wall-Street’s “hope, wait, and pray” game where you nervously invest all your savings into the stock market, all while commiserating over the Starbucks you couldn’t drink because saving $4.12 was more important. (Do people seriously believe that sh*t?)
Currently, MJ owns a publishing company which produces, distributes, and licenses his work around the world while contributing daily to TheFastlaneForum.com: an entrepreneurial community featuring over 40,000 entrepreneurs. He lives in Scottsdale Arizona and enjoys road trips, softball, travel, fitness and nutrition, working out, and recklessly exploring the Sonoran desert on his UTV.

Working Backwards: Insights, Stories, and Secrets from Inside Amazon
Rs. 2,990.00or 3 X Rs.996.67 withRead moreColin Bryar & Bill Carr
Colin Bryar and Bill Carr have operationalized the core management practices that lie behind Amazon’s success. In particular, their insights into how any successful leader can focus on narrative and metrics to take a short-cut to the truth are essential for any leader in any industry. You’ll want to have your highlighter ready and keep this book close at hand for quick reference. — Kim Scott, author of Radical Candor
Jeff Bezos once told me that unlike Google or Apple, ‘Amazon doesn’t have one big advantage, so we have to braid a rope out of many small advantages.’ Amazon has demonstrated again and again that success doesn’t result from one big stroke of genius but from a set of clear business practices consistently and boldly applied. Colin Bryar and Bill Carr dive deep into how Amazon has become the company to study if you want to succeed in 21st-century business. — Tim O’Reilly, owner of O’Reilly Media
For those looking to change the world in ways (very) large and small via innovation and business, my strong recommendation is to dive deeply into Working Backwards. Bill and Colin have delivered a rarity of immense value, which is a powerful, high judgment dissection of the inputs to Amazon itself. I anticipate Working Backwards to quickly become required reading in board rooms and classrooms around the world — Jason Kilar, CEO of WarnerMedia
Rather than offering a dull catalog of the company’s 14 leadership principles and three implementation mechanisms, Mr. Bryar and Mr. Carr provide concrete and accessible examples of how these are put into practice across a range of functions, from hiring and communications to organizational and product design. — New York Times
Colin and Bill very precisely captured the unique corporate culture of Amazon and described many of the essential parts of Amazon’s approach to innovation. They offer a unique, insiders’ view of the company with many valuable lessons for large companies that want to reinvent their business models as well as for startups that want to scale rapidly. This is the definitive innovation playbook. — Serguei Netessine, Vice Dean and Dhirubhai Ambani Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The Wharton School
Working Backwards should be read by anyone interested in the real thing -the principles, processes and practices of 21st century management and leadership. — Forbes Magazine
Rather like a potted business school case study, this book gives us the story as it developed at the time ― and that is probably worth the cover price of the book in itself. — The Financial Times
This book reads like a how-to guide, which perhaps is by design ? Bryar and Carr both were long-time Amazonians and their vantage point is that of an enthusiast rather than a critic. To be sure, Amazon offers much to admire….It’s a safe bet Amazon’s core principles and practices will remain essentially intact, not because Bezos will be watching from the executive suite but because Bryar, Carr and legions of current managers at the company believe in the Amazon way. — Associated Press
Colin and Bill have captured the essence of what it means at Amazon to start with the customer and work backwards. They both held important leadership roles at critical moments in the company’s history that they’ve translated into interesting stories and lessons for readers. — Jeff Wilke, CEO, Worldwide Consumer, Amazon
Working Backwards serves as a blueprint enabling leaders to implement guiding principles, operating rhythms and durable mechanisms that allow teams to scale effectively, even as your business expands at an accelerated clip. A must read for every entrepreneur or business leader focused on driving growth. — Mariana Garavaglia, Chief People & Business Operations Officer, Peloton

- Winner of the FT & McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award 2020
- One of the best books of the year according to: The Times | Fortune | Financial Times | Inc. | Economist | Newsweek
“Happily—this is a book about Silicon Valley. It is a record of a single app moving through the place. And in making that record, in hewing closely to Instagram and its founders, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, while giving new texture to the Valley’s major players, like Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg, Frier tells the story of how that place works….The book manages to be clear-eyed and objective about the founders and their many flaws, without sensationalizing or oversimplifying—a hard balance to strike in tech coverage right now….we need a book like this to explain what it is I’m tapping on all day. I spend hours staring at the screen, and now I have a better sense of who’s staring back.” —New York Times
“No Filter is a vibrant play-by-play of how Instagram reached that level of influence through the business of manufacturing coolness….Frier’s version of that story is rich with details, based on hundreds of interviews including sit-downs with the app’s co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. Armed with their perspective, Frier is able to draw a line between each decision the founders made and the cultural consequences….The irresistible drama of No Filter plays out between the founders and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.” —NPR
“Deeply sourced….Frier delivers a compelling tale of jealousy…. The David-and-Goliath tussle is deftly interwoven by Frier with another tale: the transformation of Instagram itself, from the photo app known for its artsy filters to the creator of ‘creators.'” —Financial Times
“If Aaron Sorkin wants to make a sequel to the movie The Social Network, he has his source material right here. Frier, a tech journalist, was given enviable access to Instagram’s founders and other key players. The result is an inside-the-room chronicle of one of Silicon Valley’s most fascinating and fraught acquisitions. A tale of luck, smarts, and strategy, No Filter also reminds us how much business depends on personal chemistry or—in the case of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram’s Kevin Systrom—the lack thereof. Just as intriguing is Frier’s clear-eyed commentary on what the rise of Instagram culture means.” —Inc, Top 10 New Business Books for 2020
“Successful startups in Silicon Valley are sometimes described as being akin to building a spaceship in mid-flight. With No Filter, the intrepid Sarah Frier takes you inside the spaceship that became Instagram. A deeply reported and beautifully written account of a company that has changed society, fame, culture, business, and communication—sometimes for the better and, as Frier so adeptly shows, also for the worse.” —Nick Bilton, special correspondent for Vanity Fair and author of Hatching Twitter
“With No Filter, Sarah Frier has delivered a brilliant exploration of the highs and lows of human nature. The book is part business drama—packed with tales of creativity, ambition, and intrigue—and part an anthropologist’s examination of modern life. Frier’s vivid reporting and electric storytelling provide the definitive account of how Instagram turned into a cultural phenomenon and what the app’s success says about all of us.” —Ashlee Vance, author of Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future
